Fabian Wiescher has a background in both a medicine and natural science, enabling him to draw on a wealth of multidisciplinary technical knowledge and expertise across a range of fields including physics, mechanics, mechanical engineering, life sciences and biotechnology.

A focal point of his work is the acquisition and defence of patent rights in Germany, Europe and worldwide, starting with the formulation in writing of the actual inventive idea to be protected and preparation of the application paperwork, right up to and extending beyond the conclusion of examination proceedings before the German Patent and Trademark Office or the European Patent Office.

Further key elements of his work include carrying out searches for prior art, analyzing the results of the searches in detail, and conducting opposition and appeal proceedings.
