28th Marburger Discussions on Pharmaceutical Law

On March 13, 2025 our parter Dr. Marco Stief will give a talk at the 28th Marburger Discussions on Pharmaceutical Law (Forschungsstelle für Pharmarecht) on marketing protection under patent law, which will also cover the limits and procedural enforcement as well as the associated legal consequences. Much has changed in this area in recent years, be it in the protection and enforcement of indication patents, be it in direct actions against the IFA GmbH or be it through the introduction of the SPC Waiver and the revision of the Bolar Exemption. The Unitary Patent and the work of the Unified Patent Court have also had a fundamental impact on the framework conditions for market entry and the protection of pharmaceutical innovations.
