Isabel Stehle

M.Sc. Molecular Mechanisms of Disease

Isabel Stehle is a patent attorney candidate at Maiwald with a focus on protection of intellectual property in the fields of molecular biology, biochemistry and biotechnology.

Over the course of several research internships, including at McGill University in Montréal, Canada, she acquired extensive knowledge in the fields of immunology, tumour biology and neurology. Her doctoral research focussed on the molecular mechanisms of CRB1-related hereditary retinal diseases using proteomics, mass spectrometry and retinal organoids from induced pluripotent stem cells.

Isabel Stehle is the author of several scientific publications in prestigious journals and has presented her research findings at national and international conferences.
