On July 1, 2019, Maiwald, one of the leading intellectual property law firms in Germany, named Susanna Heurung as Partner.
Susanna Heurung is an attorney at law and a specialist attorney for intellectual property law with a focus on trademark law, design law, competition law, food law and copyright law. She mainly advises on applications for intellectual property rights, oppositions, cancellation proceedings and infringement proceedings. She represents her clients before the German and European authorities and courts and has also been successful before the European Court of Justice.
The trademark expert joined Maiwald in 2017 with the IP boutique Kotitschke & Heurung.
